Table Turn is a wireless touch screen table management and communication system that utilizes the front-of-the-house staff to communicate real-time table status of every table in the dining room through a series of monitors and Signal Caller pagers.

STEP ONE -
THE HOSTESS STANDThe monitor notifies the hostess of available tables. Upon seating the guests, the hostess presses the table number on the monitor. The selected table is now illuminated in red and the signal is transmitted wirelessly to all the monitors denoting that the table is occupied. THE SERVEROnce the guests have left the table, the server presses the table number on the closest monitor changing the solid red light to a slow blinking red light. This notifies the hostess that she will have a table ready soon and she can page the next party on the wait, cutting 4-6 minutes off the table turn over time. It also pages the bus staff or server’s assistant with a list of table numbers needing service. The bus staff can also check monitors for tables to serviced. | STEP THREE -
THE SERVER’S ASSISTANTOnce the table has been serviced and reset, the server’s assistant has two options. If Signal Caller portable pagers are being used in the system, the server’s assistant can sent a wireless transmission from the table to the hostess desk monitor that the table is ready. If only touch screen monitors are being used in the system, the server’s assistant can press the table number on any monitor turning the blinking red light off. This notifies the hostess that a table is ready for new guests. Signal Caller is a portable Table Turn seating and restaurant messaging system. It is a communication system that can receive pre-programmed text messages from Table Turn panels and other Signal Caller pagers in the system. |
